The Guru Yoga of the Inseparability of the Spiritual Master and Avalokiteshvara is a profound Mahayana/Vajrayana sadhana (meditation practice) written by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. It focuses on merging your mind with your spiritual master and the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig).

Program:

1. Prayers from the Lhagsam Prayer Book
2. Meditation on the Four Noble Truths
3. The Source of All Attainments: The Yoga of the Inseparability of the Guru and Avalokiteshvara
4. Dedications

Only those Mani mantras recited within the practice of the sadhana are to be included in our count. For those who count, refuge in the three jewels is required. As the final day of the Retreat is on 1st November 2026 (Lhabab Duchen), please submit your final mantra counts latest by 8:00am (UTC), 2nd November 2026. Upon the conclusion of this Global Mani Retreat, we will offer the total number of mani mantras recited to His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

FPMT global retreat advisor Khen Rinpoche Geshe Chönyi has advised that if you are planning to attend any of the Chenrezig Group Practice sessions, it is highly recommended that you be vegetarian for that day.
