Deity Yoga and Green Tara (Online)

During four  evenings, Venerable Robina Courtin introduce us to the practice of Deity Yoga and the Green Tara practice. Join us if you want to learn more about these powerful practices!

WHEN: Fridays in January, 20.00 – 21.00
WHERE: Online
Intermediate (beginners are welcome!)

Please note that registration is required. We would like to make sure that we have enough space for everyone in the Zoom session!

The practice of Deity Yoga is based on Vajrayana practices unique to the Tibetan Buddhism.  For those who have a sound foundation of Mahayana Buddhism, the practice of Vajrayana is said to be the fastest and most powerful path to Buddhahood.  Venerable Robina will give teachings on the practices of deity yoga in general and further guides us on the practice of Green Tara.

Tara, whose name means “star” or “she who ferries across.” Tara is a bodhisattva of compassion who manifests in female form. In Tibetan, Tara is known as “Drolma” or “She Who Saves.” In particular, Green Tara, represents compassion in action, since she’s in the process of stepping from her lotus throne in order to help sentient beings.

With the practice of Green Tara, we will learn the meditative process of visualization and how the practice of deity yoga transforms the mind.
