Each FPMT Discovering Buddhism course ends with an intensive practice day, which is designed to review the material one more time and to practice the meditations in a retreat setting. It can also be a great way to get a summary of the course, if you did not have the chance to attend regularly. Everyone is welcome.

As in the past Sunday on “Samsara and Nirvana”, we will use this Sunday for an Intensive Practice Day, summarizing the course “How to Develop Bodhicitta”.

“The whole thing, so many practices, all come down to live the daily life with bodhicitta motivation to put all the effort in that whatever you do. This way your life doesn’t get wasted and it becomes full of joy and happiness, with no regrets later.” ~ Lama Zopa Rinpoche

Born in Sri Lanka and growing up in England, Ven. Gendun studied in art school and did a degree in illustration before meeting Tibetan Buddhism in 1991 through the kindness of Lama Zopa Rinpoche and His Holiness the Dalai Lama. After his ordination in 1992 Ven. Gendun worked in FPMT centres in New Zealand. He moved to Nalanda Monastery in France in 2000 to deepen his studies. He teaches and guides retreats at the Nalanda Monastery and in other FPMT centers in Europe.
