Today we are starting a new course from the FPMT Discovering Buddhism program ‘All About Karma’. Karma has become a “buzz word” in the Western world, but many of us have little understanding of what it actually is and how it determines our everyday experiences.
In this course we will explore karma, its effects on our lives and what it means to take personal responsibility. We will look in detail at how our actions cause us happiness or suffering, so that we can start playing an active role in creating our future reality. We will also learn how to meditate on the topic on karma.
The course consists of weekly guided meditation, teaching and discussion. Drop-ins are welcome anytime, however frequent participation is required, if you would like to receive the completion certificate.
We will start this course tonight by watching the introduction movie, which will feature many great teachers and our fellow students explaining to us, what we can expect to learn in the upcoming course.
