Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter… and Spring is a visually stunning and meditative film by Kim Ki-duk that unfolds within the serene confines of a floating monastery, surrounded by a tranquil lake and lush mountains. Through the changing seasons, the film delves into the cyclical nature of life, exploring themes of innocence, love, sin, redemption, and enlightenment. With minimal dialogue and rich symbolism, it offers a profound reflection on human nature and the passage of time, drawing viewers into a contemplative journey that is as spiritual as it is cinematic.
