ABOUT LAMA ZOPA RINPOCHE
Lama Zopa Rinpoche (1946–2023) was a revered Tibetan Buddhist master and co-founder of the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT). He was widely known for his deep compassion, wisdom, and tireless dedication to spreading Dharma worldwide. On April 13, 2023, Rinpoche entered Parinirvana in Nepal, leaving behind an immense spiritual legacy. His passing is honored by students as a reminder of impermanence and the preciousness of the teacher-student connection. As devotees we continue to keep Rinpoche’s teachings alive through practice, service, and the flourishing of the FPMT centers.
