Based on a deep understanding of the functions of karma, Ven. Robina will explain the purification practice and elements of the guru yoga on Guru Vajrasattva; especially how it’s rooted in the application on the four opponent powers: First, we take refuge, we rely on our trustworthy teacher, the Buddha, and the path he showed us. Then we regret all our negative actions, which only create obstacles on our path. Next, we apply the remedy; in this practice it is the recitation of the Vajrasattva mantra. To conclude, we apply the power of resolve; we make a pledge to do our best not to do these negative actions again.

Please notice: Ven. Robina might ask us to do the actual practice ourselves once she leaves at 8 pm. In this case, a Lhagsam facilitator will lead the practice. It is up to you to decide whether you’ll stay for this section.
