Ven. Robina Courtin, Switzerland 2017

Australian ex-Catholic, ex-political activist, ex-radical feminist, and former body guard for the Dalai Lama, Venerable Robina Courtin has been a Buddhist nun since 1978. A renowned teacher of Buddhist psychology and philosophy, Ven. Robina will give teachings and a public talk in Zurich for the first time, as a part of the worldwide 2017 teaching tour that includes over 50 events in 17 countries. Well known for her work with people in prisons, Ven. Robina’s life and work is the subject of the award-winning documentary ‘Chasing Buddha’. She teaches full time around the world at the centers of her teachers’ organization, the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT).

Ven. Robina will visit the German part of Switzerland in May 2017. She will give teachings and public talks in Zurich and Bern. Her talks will revolve around topics relevant to all of us – coping with stress and problems, understanding, why bad things happen to us in life and dealing with death.
