Discovering Buddhism: Intensive Practice Day
Good News: Lhagsam Center is open to on-site activities! Many of our courses are simultaneously offered online and on-site. Find more information in the event calendar. Safety is an important value for Lhagsam, so we kindly ask on-site participants to register and we limit the number of participants for each event. A COVID certificate is not needed for regular groups below 30 people, but we still ask regular participants to remain careful. If you are new to Lhagsam, please be prepared to present your COVID certificate before you participate in your first event onsite. If this is not possible, please contact us before attending. Find our safety concept here.
Find more balance, joy and harmony by putting meditation into daily practice. Buddhism offers incredibly effective, well-proven methods to do just that and Lhagsam is the place in Zurich, where you can learn more about it.
We offer courses, seminars and guided meditations for beginners and more experienced students in English and German. Through our association with the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition, we are able to invite the most renowned Western and Asian scholars and practitioners to teach at our center in the heart of Zurich, where you won’t only have opportunities to study and practice, but will also find a circle of friends and a little oasis of peace and harmony in the middle of the city.
We are a Non-Profit Organisation, open for all people from all religious and non-religious backgrounds. Our centre and activities are based on donations, membership fees, and the dedicated work of volunteers. You can contribute by a donation, becoming a member, and/or becoming a volunteer.
At Lhagsam we embrace diversity and equal opportunity with respect to race, religion, ethnicity, culture, gender, age, sexual orientation, and physical abilities.
