I'm New Here

Welcome Message

Your own mind is the cause of happiness; your own mind is the cause of suffering. To obtain happiness and pacify suffering, you have to work within your own mind.

~Lama Zopa Rinpoche

Dear Friend,

The discovery and transformation of your mind may become the biggest adventure of your life. It has the potential to bring more peace, balance and happiness not only to you, but also to your immediate environment and ultimately to all universal beings. And the best thing is that this exciting journey can begin right away, exactly where you are now.

To start off on the right foot, we encourage you to explore our website and join our newsletter. If Buddhist philosophy, psychology and meditation seem to appeal to you, then your best next step is to deepen your knowledge and practice with reliable, experienced teachers and with a group of good friends.

We are always excited for newcomers to join our group and we will do our best to make you feel welcome. No pre-requisites are required.

We hope to meet you soon,
Lhagsam Tibetan Meditation Center

Comfortable clothes, especially if you are planning on meditating on a cushion rather than on a chair. We do not follow any particular dress code.

We have meditation cushions or chairs to sit on. You are free to choose what suits you best.

Our teachings and guided meditations are usually in English, so it is good, if you are able to understand spoken English. The discussions are in both English and German, depending on the group.
