The most important thing is the continuity of developing your mind in the lamrim, the stages of the path to enlightenment. It doesn’t matter if you are in Africa, Tibet, on the moon, in Iraq or wherever, whether you are rich or poor: continue to develop your mind in the lamrim. That is the most important thing.
– Lama Zopa Rinpoche
The lamrim is a much cherished collection of Buddhist teachings that leads us along a spiritual path. The lamrim covers the paths of Liberation, Mahayana and Vajrayana; these teachings lead us gradually and progressively along the path to enlightenment.
Lhagsam Tibetan Meditation aspires to provide the platform for all people to study, contemplate and meditate together on the teachings from Lamrim Year: Making Life Meaningful Day by Day. The Lamrim Year is a compilation of 365 teachings by Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche, published by Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive.
Alison Murdoch’s research for the book involved collecting Lama Yeshe’s and Lama Zopa’s teachings from over the years. She identified passages that aligned with the outline provided by Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand. Today, we may be inspired through contemplation and meditation by reading one page a day in the 365 day compilation of teachings in the Lamrim Year.
Lhagsam’s 365 Days of Lamrim Program runs from January 17, 2023 to February 19, 2024, with a winter break between December 18, 2023 to January 8, 2024.
The book may be downloaded for free or by donation. If you would like to read the new Lamrim Year Companion, start your journey here. This option provides you with an electronic notepad so you may take daily notes about your spiritual progress.

The 365 Days of Lamrim Program
Lhagsam’s “365 Days of Lamrim” consists of two sessions – Together on the Path (ToP) and Glance Meditation. Each week, we will explore the lamrim topic outlined in the book. Starting the week with ToP on Tuesdays, we’ll have a short meditation followed by a discussion and on the following Monday we’ll have a longer guided meditation on the same topic during Glance Meditation.
What makes this program special is that Tahlia will be creating the weekly meditations based on the lamrim topics for that week. She will draw upon her years of experience as a Dharma practitioner and meditator to prepare our weekly meditations–bringing the Lamas teachings to life!
Each weekly cycle is from Tuesday to the following Monday. One can choose to do both sessions or either one of the two. Drop-ins are welcome to any individual session. Both sessions will be led by Lhagsam’s facilitators.
