Happy Saka Dawa! On Wednesday, June 14, is the fifteenth day of the fourth Tibetan lunar month, the day to celebrate Shakyamuni Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, and passing into parinirvana.

Any actions done during Saka Dawa, both auspicious and harmful, are multiplied in their power. Karmic results are said to be multiplied by one hundred million times, so don’t miss this precious opportunity! It is a very powerful time to practice and increase one’s commitment to both practice and study.

To make the best of this special day, we do the following onsite and online:

06.10 pm Equalizing and exchanging self with others incl. tonglen
06.50 pm Break
07.00 pm Recitation of the Vajra Cutter Sutra
08.20 pm Break
08.30 pm Vajrasattva Purification Meditation and dedications
09.00 pm Goodnight

You can come and go as you please, if you would only like to join for one or two of the practices.
