This is part of a series of teachings from May 13 through December 16, 2024, on common daily dharma practices that we may know but have not had the opportunity to learn about firsthand.

Tonight is a review session led by a Lhagsam Host that follows the first week’s teaching with Venerable Tenzin Gendun who guided us through reciting different mantras. We will discuss the power of mantras and then do the Buddha Shakyamuni sadhana that includes the mantra TADYATHA OM MUNE MUNE MAHA MUNEYE SOHA.

Recordings of the previous teachings here.

We will open by setting our motivation and settling our minds with a 10-minute breathing meditation. We will recite mantras together by setting our motivation to benefit ourselves and eventually all sentient beings!  We will have time for discussion on the meaning of the mantras.
