Tibetan Meditation for Beginners with Ven. Gendun
We are excited that Ven. Tenzin Gendun accepted our invitation to teach an introduction course to Tibetan Meditation. Ven. Gendun will spend one week in Zurich. The first class will take place on Tuesday, August 15th.
We have received many requests to offer a beginner course for non-Buddhists, who are interested to use the meditative techniques to concur everyday stress and to improve their concentration. This 3-evening summer course is designed to give such an introduction in theory and practice. You will learn how to sit, how to structure your meditation session, what results you can expect and how soon. The course will include practical advice and guided meditation.
I have been trying to invite Ven. Gendun to Zurich for quite a while. I am delighted that he agreed to teach an introduction to meditation course for us. I hope that many people will be able to benefit from it. (Nina)
Ven. Gendun is known for his great sense of humor. He has studied and practiced Buddhism for more than 20 years now. Therefore in this course we are not only guaranteed to learn a lot, but also to have a really good time together.
No prior knowledge is required about Buddhism or meditation. Drop in for one of the sessions or visit the entire course for the full benefit.
