IMPORTANT NOTICE

All Lhagsam activities are currently offered online only due to the pandemic regulations.

Our physical location is temporarily closed.

Dear Friend,

We are sure that like all of us, you are watching the developments regarding the coronavirus with concern and you wonder what you can do to protect the people around you. The main thing to do is to remain calm and to prevent further spread of the disease. Based on the current BAG regulations, all Lhagsam activities are currently offered online. Our physical will remain closed until further notice.

In the time when a calm, happy mind and heart open to others is more important than ever, we are so fortunate to have technology available to continue to meditate, practice and study together, even if we don’t physically meet for a while. More information will be coming regarding online event access. You can always find the most up-to-date information regarding our program and specific events on the Lhagsam website.

As always, our (digital) door is open to newcomers – everyone is welcome to join us. We will also continue to rely solely on your donations to keep paying the rent and bills so we have a spiritual home to return to after this difficult time passes.

Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s advice to protect from coronavirus

ama Zopa Rinpoche has recently offered much advice for practices helpful to protect ourselves and the global community from the coronavirus. You can find his advice here. Based on this advice, we created a short practice manual, which you can download here. It is best to do this practice every day (it only takes 5 minutes). The idea is that you read the prayer and the mantras out loud (or silently while still moving your mouth) blessing the air by the mantra in this way.

Additionally, we offer the opportunity to join a Medicine Buddha practice once a month. Details on the Lhagsam website (Events).

Here are the answers to some important questions you may have.

How to join online?
The majority of our events, meditations and pujas, will be available online. We are setting up online learning tools and will publish access details for each event on our website (see Events tab).

Do I have to be a member to join an event or meditation?

We welcome newcomers and drop-ins anytime. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at info@lhagsam.ch. Otherwise, we look forward to welcoming you at Lhagsam online.

Who do I contact if I have questions?

You can e-mail us anytime at info@lhagsam.ch

How can I donate, if Lhagsam is physically closed?

Even though the physical location is closed, we still need to find a way to pay the bills and continue our activities. If you are able to help by donating, you can do it via PayPal or wire transfer. The details can be found here.
